Mel Gibson Movies: Then and Now

Mel Gibson continues to be gracing the screen since 1976, with a television series called "The Sullivans". As i have never seen the show, there is obviously something that Hollywood saw from the actor because it helped to start off his career, specially when he gained the role of Mad Max. Mel Gibson has over 40 movies they have acted in, directed or produced. My first experience with Mel Gibson was in the Lethal Weapon Series, which is the reason I have always been an admirer. His ability to act a little bit crazy, offer humor, and offer a good character instantly caught my attention. They have proved his talent through lots of his movies including Braveheart, The Patriot, and What Women Want. My favs Mel Gibson movies are Lethal Weapon, Maverick, Braveheart, and Bird with a Wire.

The Lethal Weapon series continued to use Mel Gibson's humor, ability to act, and provided a bit of "crazy" behavior that makes these action films perfect. Whether you prefer all four of the movies or simply one, it is a fantastic way to spend the weekend watching Mel Gibson act beside Danny Glover. The primary two were the very best with humor, but there was clearly also points of seriousness from the films that helped the storylines really matter. These four movies have something for anyone.

Maverick was yet another comedy Mel Gibson movie that she pulled off. Not only did the film reviews give it good ratings, nonetheless it had a star studded cast. Pulling this off the shelf every once in a while offers a taste of comedic Old West including a lesson on poker you simply won't soon forget. Throw a little bit romance in and it is perfect.

Bird on a Wire can be another oldie but a goodie with the Mel Gibson movies category. This film brought Mel Gibson opposite Goldie Hawn, noted for her comedy also. The plot gave you Rick Jarvis, who was simply in witness protection until his old flame saw him. Then suddenly Rick is on the move, towing along Goldie Hawn's character. Car chases, bullets, comedy, with an eventual visit to the zoo get a good hour . 5 of entertainment.

One of his best works is Braveheart. Even if some of the details are not historically accurate the film realized something that nothing else continues to be able to do. About the same time as Braveheart, Rob Roy arrived, which was very dry and too long. The point is that Braveheart was able to keep the action, a bit of romance, comedy, and certainly sorrow. It presented the gamut of feelings a 3 hour movie can lose. It was also Mel Gibson's transition to behind you, making him shine as being a director.

Mel Gibson movies are invariably great for an afternoon of pure enjoyment. Inspite of the actor's troubling personal life he is able to put it aside to the camera to bring out the best in himself and the he works with.
